Diner Privacy Notice
Last updated: June 14, 2026
This notice is for diners using a digital menu powered by Tables.Menu. The restaurant whose menu you are viewing is the controller of your data; Tables.Menu provides the technology on its behalf.
What may be collected
- An optional name you enter to share an order at a table.
- Order details you place from the menu.
- Voice input, only if you choose to use voice ordering.
- Basic, anonymous usage counts (e.g. that a menu was viewed).
How it's used
To show the menu, group orders at a shared table, send orders to the kitchen/bar, and operate the service. Voice input is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) solely to understand your order and is not retained for training.
You are in control
Entering a name is voluntary. You can browse the menu without ordering. Voice ordering only starts when you activate it.
Your rights
To exercise data rights about your order, contact the restaurant directly. For questions about the underlying technology, contact privacy@tables.menu. See also our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
